HLTV Instructions
Viewing the HLTV demo on a Single
computer.
1) Place
the HLTV demo in your /tfc folder.
2) Start tfc game (lan or otherwise).
3) To start the demo, type "viewdemo
demoname.dem" in the TFC console.
4) 'Viewdemo' adds a graphic control panel on
the F2 key.
5) Enjoy.
HLTV Server Info : The developer of HLTV has a website
with excellent advice for users. It has an
update for the Valve viewdemo files that will
fix some bugs. Also I recommend the site for
anyone serious about running a proper HLTV.

Custom TGA Map Overviews

These are
TGA overviews, providing higher definition than

Standalone HLTV

ezHLTV v2.1 -
stand-alone HLTV application for recording,
viewing, and converting HLTV demos. It should work
with any mod that supports HLTV. It will record in
v1110 format, but will play both v1108,v1109 and
v1110 HLTV demos. It is recommended to convert all
v1108 demos to the new v1110 format, but it is not
required. It will run on any Windows computer and
doesn't require Half-Life to be installed (except
for viewing demos). Just pick your league (OGL9,
OGL5, STA9, STA5, TFL9, TFL5, IGL9, IGL5, PFL,
CAL, and ADL config URL's for TFC are included) or
tell it the location of a local config file or one
on the internet (this will allow it to support
other leagues). Answer a few simple questions and
it does the rest. To guarantee league compliance,
it automatically downloads the latest league
config file each time it is run. For more
information, view the readme file. Truely,
HLTV made easy!
